Events & Workshops

“If you’re a serious photographer and want to take another step forward in your development, you have to signup for a Laurie Klein workshop as soon
as you’re able to! I’ve attended several photo workshops over past few years,
including several at Santa Fe Photographic Workshops, and I have to say
that Laurie’s workshop I took at the “Texas School” TPPA event in Dallas
recently ranks rightup there with the best! Laurie’s ability to communicate
and her willingness to lay it all out there for her students is as good as it  gets.
She’s sincerely interested in the growth of her students, and all of us in the
class left inspired to keep pushing our limits and to continue putting what she taught us, to work, in our photo careers.”

"Working one on one with Laurie Klein has been the single most valuable decision I've made to nurture my artistic ventures.  Collaborating with Laurie has brought out a deeper purpose in my work and connected me to an inner confidence I never knew I had.  In addition to a wealth of wisdom about business and image making, Laurie has a natural ability to help other artists unlock their own unique artistic expression." Photographic Playdate
Dates to be announced for summer 2014
A Playdate© is a workshop hosted by Laurie Klein where we unlock your creativity through role playing, costumes and photography. Often these dates are located at Laurie's beach house in Brookfield where we can shoot and swim and be inspired...
You must be comfortable with a videographer, as we will be taking video to be used for in an application for a Pepsi Refresh grant to help expand Laurie's mentoring program. The grants are given to people with ideas that will help enrich the community in some way, and what better way is there but helping students?
Be prepared to be on both sides of the camera!!
